We All Enjoy Getting Gifts

We all enjoy getting gifts. But face it; sometimes giving a gift isn’t always something we love to do. Some people experience a joy in gift giving while others feel apprehension about their choice in gifts. At William Glen we have a theory: Give a gift you would enjoy receiving. While this still doesn’t alleviate all the decision making turmoil. It may help guide you in a better direction than trying to second guess what the individual wants.

Thinking about a few points like what is your relationship with this person, what is the occasion, how much am I comfortable in spending, are they a collector or have some other known interest?  All of these help guide me when I am faced with a gift-giving quandary.

Another really important item about gift giving is presentation. Make sure it is beautifully wrapped and wrapped in a way that relates to the gift or the occasion. Gifting is a joy. It should mean something to you and to the lucky one on the other end of the gift.  Make it a personal experience.These are a few of my personal favorite things for gift giving for all occasions.
